JULIA ANN JOHNSON
Julia Ann Johnson, 98, of Gainesville, MO passed away on July 24, 2015 at the Gainesville Healthcare Center. She was born on November 23, 1916 in Milton LeFlore, OK, the daughter of Andrew Lee and Eliza Jane (Bowen) McDaniel.
Julia worked for fifteen years on the assembly line for Rohr Industries, an aircraft assembly manufacturer in San Diego, CA. She moved to the Ozarks from McAlester, OK some 20 years ago to be near her daughter, Yvonne Reynolds. Julia was a longtime member of the Church of Christ. She was loved by all who knew her.
She is survived by one daughter Yvonne Reynolds and husband Charles of Gainesville; eight grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; numerous great-great grandchildren; and two great-great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands; and two daughters Ernestine Gompf and Alma Jane Montgomery.
No local services are planned at this time. Burial is in Greenwood Memorial Park Cemetery in San Diego, CA, under the direction of Greenwood Memorial Park and Mortuary.
