Julia Lucia Nemeth, 82 years, 8 months, and 0 days old, passed to Heaven on March 1, 2014 at Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare.

Julia was born July 1, 1931 in Trenton, NJ to Cazimer and Bronislawa (Petrosewicz) Szczukowski.

Julia had been a school bus driver in New Jersey, driving special needs children for many years before coming to Ava. She was a resident of the Ava community for 20 years.



She was a Christian and a member of St. Leo's Catholic Church in Ava.

Julia and Stephen Nemeth were united in marriage on December 31, 1975 in Georgia.



Julia will be remembered for her quick wit and her great sense of humor. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Julia was preceded by her parents, her husband, Stephen Nemeth in 1995, three brothers, Joseph, Charles and Paul Szczukowski, and four sisters, Catherine Corcoran, Bernice Wisniewski, Veronica Supinski, and Helen Kiseluski.


Julia is survived by her four children, Sharon DeMarcello and husband, Frank, Levittown, PA, Paula Burton, and husband, Mike, Ava, MO, Bernard Nemeth and friend, Cherie Foldes, Ava, MO, Flora Leone, Hamilton, NJ, grandchildren, Dwayne Daniels, John DeMarcello and Jennifer Monteleone, Danielle Cooper, Daniel Klidza,Joseph Leone Ranallo, Sherie DeMarcello, Annette DeMarcello Gonzales & children and Frank & Kelly DeMarcello and children, great-grandchildren, Nekole Ashley, Stephen Tyler, and Jacklynn Daniels, John Michael and Nicholas Austin DeMarcello, several nieces and nephews, and many friends.


Cremation services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava. Burial will be at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery in Trenton , N.J. at a later date. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
