JUNE LOUISE BAKER

June Louise Baker, 76, of Howards Ridge, MO passed away on October 24, 2017 at NHC Healthcare in West Plains, MO. She was born February 11, 1941 in Detroit, MI, the daughter of Raymond Rader and Louise Goff.

June worked for many years as a waitress. On July 4, 1981 she was united in marriage to Herman Baker in Las Vegas, NV. They lived in Bishop, CA and moved around the country until buying property in Missouri. They built their home south of Gainesville near Howards Ridge. June loved her family and spending time with her "nature" family. She loved the deer and the wildlife that visited their property. June enjoyed watching her favorite shows and reading detective stories, and especially playing Bingo. She loved her Bingo family in Mountain Home, and enjoyed all the time she spent with them.

June is survived by her husband Herman Baker of the home in Howards Ridge; her daughters Chryl Ann, Carmel, Linde, and Ella May; six grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister Pat Rader; one son Dane Brookshear; one brother Raymond Rader Jr.; and her mother Louise Goff.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, October 30, 2017 at the Clarkridge Baptist Church, Clarkridge, AR with Tim Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the Howards Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday morning from 9 a.m. to service time at the church.
