Justin Watterson, 54 years, passed away on February 16, 2018 in Webster County, MO.

Justin was born February 10, 1964 in Springfield, MO to James "Jim" Donald and Gaytha (Lakey) Watterson. He was a graduate of Mt. Zion High School.

Justin was a dairy and beef farmer and loved working cattle with his Dad, Jim. He enjoyed playing golf with his kids. When his children were young he loved coaching in their little league teams. He had a strong work ethic and loved doing anything outdoors. Justin was very proud of where he came from.

Justin was preceded in death by his mother, Gaytha, two sisters, Angela Kaye Watterson and Faira Spindle, one brother, Lance, and his grandparents, Ray and Reta Watterson and Alta and Gordon Shanks.

He is survived by his father, Jim Watterson, three children, Tyler Watterson and wife, Levie, Trevor Watterson, and Makenzie Watterson, one stepson, Takoma Dobbs, one grandson, Thomas Weldon Watterson, aunts, uncles, niece, many cousins, and numerous friends.

Funeral services for Justin will be Thursday, Feb. 22, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Clinkingbeard Chapel, Ava, MO with burial following in the Ava Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday prior to service from 1:00 p.m. to service time in the funeral home. Officiating will be Pastor Ron Wallace. Memorials may be made to Alzheimers Association.
