She enjoyed riding horses and loved her dogs and birds.

Karla was preceded in death by her mother, Sharon and her first husband, Donald Summers. She is survived by her companion of 25 years, "Bill" Murrah, Seymour, MO, her father, Donald Day, Oklahoma, two sons, Donald Summers, Box Elder, S. Dakota, and John Summers, Rapid City, S. Dakota, a brother, James Clark, Black Hawk, S.Dakota, step daughter, Kerisa Murrah, Seymour, MO, two grandchildren, Timmy & Alie Summers, two step grandchildren, Katina & Trever Murrah, close friend, Debbie Cunningham, her church family, and other extended family and friends.
