KATHERINE LOUISE BARRON

Katherine Louise Barron, 62, of Caulfield, MO passed away peacefully with her family by her side at West Vue Nursing Home in West Plains, MO on December 5, 2019 at 4:00 a.m. She was born March 11, 1957 in Chatfield, AR to Charles Thomas and Ruby Mae (Holmes) Norris.

Kathy lived her life caring for others. She spent 25 years at Christos House providing care and support for battered women in need. She loved her family above all else.

Kathy is survived by her husband, Edward Barron Jr of Caulfield, MO; her two daughters LaTiste King and husband Michael of Caulfield and Christy Kowiti of Caulfield; her five sisters Rose Mary Barrow and husband Larry of Proctor, AR, Edna Mae Barrow and husband James of Twist, AR, Marie Malone of Proctor, AR, Betty Ann Gardner and husband Wayne of New Boston, TX and Carol Norris of Marion, AR; sister-in-law Deanna Smith and husband Darren of Fordland, MO; her mother-in-law Peggy Plachy and husband Jerry of Caulfield, MO; six grandchildren and one great grandchild; and many other beloved family and friends.

Kathy was preceded in death by her mother, Ruby Mae Holmes; her father Charles Thomas Norris; her son Edward "Bubba" Barron; her seven brothers Howard, Charles, Oren, Tommy, Edward, Billy and Joe Harold Norris.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 10, 2019 in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home chapel in Gainesville, MO with Larry Hopkins officiating. Visitation will be Monday evening, December 9, 2019 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Following the funeral, the family will honor Kathy's wish for cremation. Memorial contributions can be made to the Activity Department at West Vue Nursing Home and can be left at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
