Kathleen Loyd

Ava, Missouri

Kathleen F. Loyd, 85 years, 4 months, 29 days old, passed on to Heaven on October 1, 2019 at her home with family by her side.

Kathleen was born May 2, 1934 in Ava, Mo. to Otto and Leola (Hale) Davis.

She was retired from working as a Bookkeeper for McKesson Co., City of Lockwood and City of Ava.  Kathleen was a Christian and she loved Jesus! She was a member of the Redbank Southern Baptist Church.

On September 28, 1952  Kathleen and Jerry Tim Loyd were united in marriage at Ava, MO and to this union they were blessed with a daughter, Teresa.

Kathleen enjoyed being with people and delighted in helping people. She had a servants heart. Kathleen also enjoyed working with flowers.

Most of all she adored her family and loved to be with them.

Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Jerry Tim in 1998.

She is survived by her daughter and husband, Teresa & Glen Dale Robertson of Ava, two grandsons and their spouses, David & Melanie Robertson of Ava, and Adam & Abby Robertson of Rogersville, two great grandsons, Zane and Kade, one brother and his wife, Merle & Darlene Davis, special friend, Cindy Smith, and a host of other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services for Kathleen will be Saturday, Oct. 5, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. in the Clinkingbeard Chapel, Ava, MO with burial following in the Goodhope Cemetery. Officiating will be Pastor Jerry Loveland and Pastor Jack Clemans. Memorials may be made to Gideon's.
