KATHLEEN WALLACE

Kathleen Wallace, 75, of Theodosia, MO passed away January 27, 2017 at her residence. She was born August 12, 1941 in Thornfield, MO the daughter of Herbert and Eulah (Marsh) Howerton.

Kathleen graduated from Gainesville High School class of 1959. On her 20th birthday, August 12, 1961, she was united in marriage to Rex Wallace in Hammond, MO. Kathleen worked for many years as a cook in a local restaurant. She enjoyed cooking and baking, gardening and tending to her flowers. She always loved the time spent with Rex at a fish fry or one of his cook-outs. She loved her family more than anything, especially her kids, grandkids and great grandkids. She was loved and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her children, Ron Wallace and wife Lucille of Phillipsburg, MO, Penny Wallace of Sparta, MO and David Wallace of Theodosia, MO; four grandchildren, Levi Wallace, Landon Wallace, Amanda Clemments and Candace Hampton; eight great grandchildren; and one sister Peggy Adkisson of Ava, MO.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Rex in September of 2015; and two brothers Harold and Orville Howerton.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, January 30, 2017 in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home chapel, Gainesville, MO with Tom Cantrell, Dale Roberts and Doyle Turner officiating. Burial will be in the Thornfield Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday morning from 9:30-10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Thornfield Cemetery. Arrangements are by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
