Kathy King, 65, of Tecumseh, MO passed away September 17, 2022 in West Plains, MO with her family surrounding her. She was born Kathy Mae Anderson to the late Neal Anderson and Lena Lewis on November 21, 1956 in Mtn Home, AR. Kathy was the youngest of her siblings Jerry "Red", Louise, Ila, and Charlie. Being the baby comes at a price, she learned quickly not to fall for the 'ole firecracker in the cow patty trick.

On September 2, 1972 she married Lonnie Rulo. They had three children Teresa, Lonnie "Pete", and Peggy, which gave her 16 grandkids and 15 great grandkids. She loved being a Nanny, probably even more than being a mom. She loved Christmas time with them and occasionally scaring them with her witches laugh. In 1989 she met Murrill Pace, and gained a stepson Justin, who added 4 more grandkids to her title.

Kathy is survived by her partner Murrill Pace of Tecumseh, MO; her children Teresa Landsdown and husband William of Gainesville, MO, Lonnie "Pete" Rulo of Piedmont, MO, and Peggy Smith and husband James of Parshall, ND; a host of grandkids; great grandkids; nieces and nephews who were all close to her; and many other friends and loved ones.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 24, 2022 in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home chapel, Gainesville, MO with Jimmy Kyle officiating. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Friday, September 23, 2022 at the funeral home. Burial will be in the White Oak Cemetery near Tecumseh, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to help with funeral expenses. Arrangements are under the direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
