KELLIE LAVERN SCOTT

Kellie LaVern Scott, age 23, of Springfield, MO, formerly of Gainesville, MO passed peacefully from this earth on Tuesday, March 11 ^th 2014. She was born on December 30, 1990 in Okmulgee, OK.

She is preceded in death by her grandfathers Charles (Roach) Hoffman & Vincent Schwalm and her best friend Jordan Stewart. She is survived by Tyler Hogan of their home in Springfield, MO; her father, Tony Scott of Okmulgee, OK; her mother, Linda Schwalm of Tecumseh, MO; sisters Christyne Randolph of Branson, MO; Toni Linn Sanitoa of Springfield, MO, Zanna Montoya of Branson, MO; nieces, Kyna, Kaydence & Alyissa; nephews, Trey & Raeden; paternal grandmother, LaVern Sanders of Okmulgee, OK; maternal grandmother, Christine Schwalm of Tecumseh, MO; many cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.

Kellie was an amazing free spirit who always tried to see the best in all situations. She had a huge heart that so freely loved everyone she came into contact with. She always placed the happiness of others before her own & would go to any length to bring a smile to the face of those she loved. Kellie loved her dogs, which she considered her children, Pixie & Trixie. She was drawn to the outdoors and loved to be one with nature in every way; fishing, floating, hiking, and just enjoying the earth she knew her God gave her. She was a 2009 Graduate of Gainesville High School, Gainesville, MO.

Funeral services for Kellie will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 17, 2014 in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home chapel in Gainesville, MO. Visitation will be Monday afternoon from 1 p.m. to service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Lilly Ridge Cemetery.
