Kelly Huffman

Kelly Gene Huffman, 84 years, 4 months, 12 days old, passed away on January 17, 2018 at Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare Center.

Kelly was born September 5, 1933 in Ava, MO to Benjamin and Mary Ellen (Williamson) Huffman.

Kelly was a U.S. Army Veteran serving from 1953 to 1955. He was a Dairy and Beef Farmer most of his life.

Kelly and Rosalie Grabeel were united in marriage May 22, 1965 at Ava, MO. Rosalie passed away in 2006. Kelly and Marilyn Sue (Robinson) Cruse were married and Marilyn passed in 2010. In the year of 2011 Kelly and Joanna (Denney) were married and she survives.

Kelly was a Christian and was baptized. He had attended the Highway Church of the Nazarene and the Gentry Church both of Ava.

Kelly enjoyed in his younger years riding motorcycles with his brother, Dorsey. He also enjoyed going to music gatherings with Joanna. Kelly loved tending his cattle and enjoyed visiting with his friends and family.

Kelly was preceded in death by his parents, his wives, Rosalie and Marilyn, and his brother, Dorsey.

Kelly is survived by his wife, Joanna of Ava, brother and wife, Bill and Wanda Huffman, sister-in-law, Doyne Huffman, many step children, many step grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Kelly will be Sat. Jan. 20, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in   the Clinkingbeard Chapel, Ava, MO with burial following in the Denney cemetery with Full Military Honors by Troy Herd American Legion post 112.  Visitation will be Sat. from 9:00 a.m. to service time in the funeral home. Officiating will be Joe Corum. Memorials may be made to Denney Cemetery.
