KENNETH WAYNE CAMPBELL
Kenneth Wayne Campbell, 78, of Mountain Home, AR, formerly of Gainesville, MO passed away on April 4, 2012 at the Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, AR. He was born on August 31, 1933 in Janesville, WI, the son of John William and Evelyn Gladys (Augustine) Campbell.
Kenneth was a veteran, having served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was united in marriage to Frances "Fran" Eileen Huber on July 8, 1967 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Waukegan, IL. When he married into the Huber family, he became one of the clan, and they still remained a huge part of his life.
Kenneth worked more than 30 years for American Motors in Kenosha, WI and retired from Chrysler Corporation in 1989. He loved his wife, his children and his family more than life itself. He will greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his children Janet Hornickel and husband Robert of Racine, WI, Deborah McGinnis and husband Rodney of Mountain Home, AR, Kenny Jo Campbell and wife Nadah, Matthew Campbell and wife Melissa, John, Judi, Jeri and Jimmy; grandchildren Samantha, Stephanie and Rikki Hornickel, Jagger and Kneesie Campbell, Ezekiel, Madison and Gabriel McGinnis, Michael, Lynn, James, David, Michael and Haley; great grandchildren Jacob, Anabella, Aiden, Jade and Isabella; his sisters Carol Hansberry and husband Larry of Arizona, Shirley Hazeltine and husband Richard and Patricia Hazeltine all of Janesville, WI, Dixie Pixley of Minong, WI and Barbara Campbell of Janesville, WI; his brothers Dean Campbell and wife Deanna, Larry Campbell and Lloyd Campbell all of Janesville, WI and Gilmore Campbell of Kenosha, WI.
He was preceded in death by his parents John and Evelyn Campbell; his wife Fran; four brothers Jackie, Gary, Ronnie and Dennis Campbell; two brothers-in-law Frank Hazeltine and Don Pixley; and one granddaughter Cherri Lee.
Funeral Services will be held at 5 p.m. Monday, April 9, 2012 in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home Chapel, Gainesville, MO with Dale Roberts officiating. Visitation will be Monday afternoon from 4 p.m. to service time. Burial will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the American Diabetes Association and can be left at the funeral home.
