KENNETH RAY COY

Kenneth Ray Coy, 71, of Gainesville, MO passed away February 5, 2021 at Viburnum, MO. He was born July 10, 1950 in Gainesville to Averille G. and Elsie F. (Beasley) Coy.

Kenny was a graduate of Gainesville High School. He then served in the United States Army from 1972-1976. He went on to become an excellent carpenter, trim carpenter, and he farmed for several years.

Kenney is survived by his son Kelly Coy of North Carolina, and daughter Dawn Michelle of Springfield, MO; his sisters Helen (Neve) Coy, and Linda (Hawkins) Coy both of Texas; along with several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister Shirley (Hannaford) Coy.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 27, 2021 in the Brushy Knob Cemetery. Dinner will be served at Brushy Knob Church following the service. Memorial donations can be made to the Brushy Knob Cemetery, 3911 State Hwy 181, Gainesville, MO 65655. Arrangements are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
