Kenneth D. Driskell, 78 years, passed away on February 10, 2011 at his home with his family and grandchildren by his side.
Kenneth was born February 22, 1932 in Bertha, MO to James and Alice (King) Driskell.
Kenneth was a resident of the Ava community for several years. He had also lived and worked in Nebraska for 25 years. He worked as an Electrician for Ash Grove Cement in Louisville, NE.
In October of 1950 Kenneth and Joyce Dobbs were united in marriage in Arkansas and to this union three children were born. Kenneth enjoyed fishing, hunting, four wheeling, camping and volunteering for the Fire Dept. at Gentryville, MO.
Kenneth was preceded by his parents, five sisters and brothers.
Kenneth is survived by his wife, Joyce Driskell, Ava, MO, three children and their spouses, Janet & Steve Yocum, Ava, MO, Lisa & Alan Derby, Louisville, NE and Brenda & Randy Schufeldt, Omaha, NE, seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, several brothers and sisters and other relatives and friends.
Cremation service for Kenneth is being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO.
