Kenneth Elliott

Kenneth Leon Elliott, 70 years, 7 months, 14 days old, passed away on December 22, 2017 at Cox's South Hospital in Springfield, MO with his family by his side.

Kenneth was born May 8, 1947 in Douglas County, MO to Eugene Oliver   and Letha Mae (Metcalf) Elliott.

He was owner and operator of Elliott Sawmill at Macomb. He originally started his business in Hartville, MO.

On Jan. 7, 1966 Kenneth and Jeannie Dry were united in marriage in Ava, MO and to this union two children Terry and Kenna were born.

Kenneth enjoyed working and in his free time you would find him hunting and fishing. His joy was being with his family and especially his grandchildren. Kenneth was a Christian and was raised in his faith at Evansdale Church. He was a loving husband, father, and poppie, as well as a wonderful friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Joann, two brothers, Richard and Dwight. He is survived by his wife, Jeannie of the home, son and wife, Terry & Cherie Elliott, Rogersville, MO and daughter and husband, Kenna & Brian O'Dell, Hartville, MO, six grandchildren, MiKali and Devin Elliott, Meagan and Dalton O'Dell, Justin and Jennifer Branstetter, four siblings, Don Elliott, Roy Elliott, Virginia Bell, and Juanita Harwell, many nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.

Memorial services for Kenneth will be Thursday, Dec. 28 ^th , 2017 at 11:00 a.m.in the Clinkingbeard Chapel, Ava, MO with burial of his cremains in the Evans Cemetery.Visitation will be Thursday prior to service at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Officiating will be Pastor Gary Dedmon. Memorials may be made to the Evans Cemetery.
