Kenneth Dale Miller, 76 years, passed to heaven on August 11, 2010 at James River Care Center, Springfield, MO.

Kenneth was born July 5, 1934 in Ava, MO to Karl and Ruth Florence (Crawford) Miller.

On May 15, 1954 Kenneth and Susie Ann Beason were united in marriage at Mt. Tabor Church in Ava, MO and to this union two daughters were born.

Kenneth was a farmer and had also worked at Dayco Corp. in Springfield from 1959 to 1986. Then he worked as a Manager for MFA Fertilizer Plant in Mansfield, MO until retirement.

Kenneth was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Ava, MO and was a Past Master and member of the Masonic Lodge York Rite of Freemasonry in Mansfield and served the Norwood Chapter. He also was a Worshipful Grand Master of Knights of Commandry. He was a former member of the Shriners in Springfield.

Kenneth loved working on his farm and raising registered Angus. His joy was his family.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Susie in 2007 and a grandson, Charles Stephen Shaeffer.

Kenneth is survived by two daughters and their husbands, Carol Shaeffer & Clyde Stant, Rogersville, MO, and Karen & Keith Taber, Ottawa, IL, three grandchildren, Tristan Shaeffer, Megan Alvarado & husband, Joe, and Nicholas Taber, one brother, Harold Miller, Mansfield, MO and other relatives and friends.



Funeral services for Kenneth will be Saturday, August 14, 2010, 2:00 p.m. at the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO with Masonic Services. Burial will follow in the Mansfield Cemetery, Mansfield, MO. Visitation will be Saturday, August 14, 2010 from 1:00 p.m. to service time in the funeral home. Officiating will be Pastor Tom Maples. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Association.
