Obituary

KENNETH JAMES REGGELSEN

Kenneth Reggelsen, 82, of Theodosia, MO passed away on March 12, 2012 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO. He was born on February 21, 1930 in Sterling, IA, the son of Henry and Mildred (Betts) Reggelsen.

Kenneth worked for 27 years as a truck driver, mostly for Land of Lakes of Rock Island, IL. He was a member of the Teamsters Union and also member of the Moose Lodge in both Centerville, IA and Kirksville, MO. After retirement, he began working as a self-employed handy man. Kenneth moved to the Ozarks over 20 years ago where he loved to fish and was very active in the Theodosia community. He enjoyed his friends and neighbors at the VFW. Everyone knew him by his Orange pick-up. He will be missed by all his family and friends.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Mildred Reggelsen. He is survived by his companion of 24 years, Ruby Hughes, of the home in Theodosia, MO; seven children; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

No local services are planned at this time. Burial will be at later date in his former hometown of Fulton, IL. Cremation services are under the care and direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
