Kent Johnson, 58 years, 6 months, and 18 days old, passed away on February 5, 2014 at his recent home in Vernal, UT.
Kent was born July 18, 1955 in Vernal, UT to George Grant and Opal Floy (Slaugh) Johnson.
Kent was a resident of the Ava area and Brushyknob community for several years. He was a Dairy Farmer and had worked alongside his father, Grant and brothers for years. He enjoyed hunting and working with animals. He adored working with his father and had mourned his passing. Kent loved his nieces and nephews and his family meant everything to him.
He was a member of the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Ava.
Kent was preceded in death by his parents, Grant & Floy, one brother, Morgan and one sister, Dana Long.
Kent is survived by his brothers and sisters; Lorene Stubbs, Dell Johnson and Carrie Shiflett all of Vernal, UT, Darrell Johnson, Fordland, MO and Glendon Johnson, Ava, MO, many nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside services for Kent will be Wed., Feb. 12, 2014 at 12:30 p.m. in the Brushyknob Cemetery, east of Ava with a Visitation prior to on Wed. from 11:00 a.m. to Noon in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava. Officiating for the graveside will be Delbert Lewis.
