Kevin Loren Farris

Kevin Loren Farris, 58 years, 1 month, 2 days old, passed away on March 29, 2018 at his home with his family by his side from a brave battle with cancer.

Kevin was born February 27, 1960 in Gainesville, MO to Loren Alfred and Vonda Norene (Elliott) Farris. He graduated high school in 1978 in Douglas, KS.

Kevin owned and operated a moving business for several years. He also worked for the Special Delivery Express (SDX) out of St. Louis, MO.

He truck drove all over the country for many years.

On September 20, 2005, Kevin and Lori Ann Millsap were united in marriage in Gainesville, MO and were together for 25 years. To this union one son, Austin was born.

Kevin was a Christian and saved and baptized by Lester Tony Turner. Tony was his pastor and a good friend for years. He enjoyed his work, fishing on the lake with Lori, hunting and most of all spending time with his family!

He was preceded in death by his father, Loren Farris, his wife, Lori Ann in 2016, and his sister, Jana Lea Farris.

Kevin is survived by his son, Austin Farris of the home in Ava, a daughter and husband, Bobi & Ed Beebe of Rogers, AR, his mother and father, Vonda & Steve Stine, Ava, four grandchildren, Rodney Wilburn, Claryc, Lonnie, and Leah Beebe, a brother, Keith Farris, Ava, special aunt, Mary Lou Ludwig, aunts, uncles, and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Kevin will be Monday, April 2, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Clinkingbeard Chapel, Ava, MO with burial following in the Seymour Cemetery, Seymour, MO. Visitation will be Monday from 1:00 p.m. to service time in the funeral home. Officiating will be Pastor James Dougherty. Memorials may be made to the family as a Love Offering.
