Kevin Lynn Johnson, 53 years, passed away on February 19, 2015 at Cox's Hospital in Branson, MO.
Kevin was born March 23, 1961 in Kansas City, MO to Garlin Leroy and Fay (Hicks) Johnson.
Kevin and Janie Hale were united in marriage in Mansfield, MO.
He was a resident of Mtn. Grove, MO. He was a former employee of the shoe factory in Mansfield, MO. Kevin enjoyed fishing, camping and his drinking. Kevin loved spending time with his nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was a very loving and caring man.
Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Hue Johnson and a niece, Barbara Fay Liles.
He is survived by his wife, Janie Johnson, Exeter, California, one step-son, Ricky Helms, two sisters and their spouses, Annette & Roy Liles, Mansfield, MO and Glendora & Kenneth Moore, Hartville, MO, many nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Graveside services for Kevin will be Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2015, 2:00 p.m. at the Mountain Valley Cemetery, Mtn. Grove, MO. Visitation will be Monday, Feb. 23 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO. Officiating will be Pastor Stoney Cheeks.
Memorials may be made to the family as a love offering.
