Kevin Dale Lakey, 49 years, passed away on September 10, 2011 at St. John's Regional Health Center, Springfield, MO.
Kevin was born January 28, 1962 in Gainesville, MO to Noble and Bonnie (Byerlee) Lakey.
Kevin loved the out doors and spent many hours fishing and canoeing on Bryant Creek near his home.
Kevin was preceded in death by two brothers Gary and Bill Lakey.
Kevin is survived by his parents, Noble & Bonnie Lakey of Ava, MO, one brother Stanley of Ava and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Kevin will be Wednesday, September 14, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO with burial in the Denlow Cemetery. Officiating will be Joe Corum. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 13, 2011 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
