Kim Marie Tomlinson

Ava, Missouri

Kim Marie Tomlinson, 61 years, 2 months, 14 days old, passed on suddenly to be with Jesus on April 29, 2025, at her home.

Kim was born February 15, 1964, in Moorhead, Minnesota, to Robert Duane and Gail Rae (Wilkins) Eidsvold.

Kim was raised in Fergus Falls, Minnesota where she grew up with and later married her husband, Charlie. They were united in marriage on February 25th, 1984, in Fergus Falls and were soon blessed with three children.

They moved to the Colorado Rockies in the 80's where she decided she wanted to help people. She went to school to become a nurse and was very dedicated to her patients, making herself available to them outside of work, even if it was just for one of her very special hugs and a prayer.

In 2000, they moved to Ava where she continued her nursing at the Cox Medical Clinic in Ava. Kim worked there for over 20 years and grew to love Douglas County and the countless wonderful people she served. She touched so many people's lives, right up until the day she passed on. Her heart broke for not being able to get out and give them all one last hug.

Kim loved her farm and yard work, gardening, fishing, swimming, anything outdoors, but there was nothing more special to her than time with her family, especially her four grandchildren who all brought so many days of happiness to her during her long struggle with cancer.

Kim was preceded in death by her mother, Gail Rae Eidsvold; and her son, Justin Robert.

Kim is survived by her father, Robert Eidsvold; husband, Charlie; her children, Joshua Tomlinson, and Brittany Hiller and husband David; four grandchildren, Corynn, Evelyn, Pierce and Monroe; her siblings, Jill Sjolie and husband, Todd, Corey Eidsvold and wife, Heidi, Jennifer Kallevig and husband, Jason, and Shawn Eidsvold and his significant other, Julie.

Memorial services for Kim will be Saturday, May 17, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. at Destination Church, 6401 Erin Ave., Ava, MO. Officiating will be Pastor James Hathcock. Services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO.
