Kim Allan Vaverka

Mansfield, Missouri

Kim Allan Vaverka, 66 years, 3 months, 15 days old, passed away on June 5, 2025.

Kim was born February 21, 1959, in Marshalltown, Iowa,  to Darwin and Patricia (Friedrick) Vaverka.

On April 1, 1983, Kim and Teresa Tetrick were united in marriage at the Ava Highway Nazarene Church. Together they had three children, Lacie, Josie, and Sadie.

Kim worked at Hutchen's Steel out of Mansfield and Seymour, Missouri for 20 plus years. He worked hard to provide for Teresa and his family.

He and Teresa attended the Gentry Church. He enjoyed riding his Harley, antiquing, collecting cars, and never sold a thing. He loved to pester his grandkids but loved them so much. Kim was a very simple man. If you knew Kim, you knew he lived on his own terms.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Teresa; his brother, Kevin Vaverka; his brother-in-law, Bill Robertson; and his granddaughter, Ellah Terrill.

He  is survived by his children and their spouses, Lacie and Ryan Beard, Josie and Tammy Vaverka, and Sadie and Andrew Terrill; grandchildren, Haley, Jackson, Emma, and Brodee; step grandchildren, Tera and Macey; a great grandson on the way, Spencer; two sisters, Rene Robertson and Angie and Pratt Buster; extended family and friends.

Cremation services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, Missouri, per his wishes. There will be a family celebration of life, and his cremains will be buried at Denney Cemetery next to his wife, Teresa.
