Landen N. Johnson, 26 years, passed away on December 8, 2012 at Ava, MO.

Landen was born November 3, 1986 in Kansas City, MO to Kevin Lee and Teresa (Turner) Miller. He graduated from Ava High School.

Landen had been working for the John Deere Reman Co. in Springfield, MO for the past four years. He had attended Mid America Nazarene College on a football and track scholarship and then to the Baptist Bible College in Bolivar, MO. Later he attended OTC in Springfield.

Landen was a Christian. He enjoyed hunting,fishing, off roading, football, four wheeling and trucks. He loved building and working on cars and trucks and getting the most out of an engine. Landen loved the time spent with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Charles Johnson and Patricia Adkins and his uncle, Toby Miller.

Landen is survived by his mother & step-father, Teresa & Trampas Miller, Ava, Mo his father & step-mother, Kevin Lee & Anna Johnson, Rogersville, MO, one brother, Blake Johnson, Rogersville, MO, maternal grandparents, Tony & Joyce Turner, Ava, MO, his girlfriend and soulmate, Nicole Robichaud, Springfield, MO and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Landen will be Tuesday, December 11, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO with burial in the Sweden Cemetery just east of Ava. Visitation will be Monday, December 10, 2012 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Officiating will be Pastor Stan Collins and Pastor Buddy Boyd. Memorials may be made to the family as a love offering.
