LARIS JANE HAMPTON

Laris Jane Hampton, 72, of Theodosia, MO passed away April 22, 2019 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born June 23, 1946 in Hanna, WY daughter of Lawrence and Tonette (Houston) Gaston.

Laris worked for over forty years as a nurse. She loved fishing and watching hummingbirds. She was a beautiful wife, wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and dear friend.

She is survived by her husband Ronald W. Hampton of Theodosia, MO; son John L. Hampton of Wright, WY; two daughters Patricia S. Wilson of Jacksonville AR and Rebecca A. Shultz of Cheyenne, WY; grandchildren Nathan Hampton, Ami Hampton, Lacy Hampton, Mandy Larson, Steven Hampton, Brian Jackson, Kendra Burch, Cindy Nokes, David Nokes; and fourteen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Lawrence and Tonette Gaston; one sister Vona M. Cotton; and one son Clayton N. Hampton.

No local services are planned at this time. Cremation services are under the care and direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
