Larry Joe Smith

Larry Joe Smith, 76 years, 3 months, and 6 days old, passed away on  December 12, 2024, at Shady Oaks Health Care in Thayer, Missouri.

On September 6, 1948, Joe was born to Ira and Lorena(Wright) Smith, in Souder, Missouri. He was one of seven children.

Joe was a Christian and member of the Souder Church of Christ.  He also attended Pine Ridge Church of Christ.

He enjoyed farming and loved visiting with family and friends. Joe didn't know a stranger.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Don Smith; and sister, Joyce Smith.

Joe is survived by his siblings, Genola Caudill, Bob and Barbara Smith, Kenny and Joyce Smith, and Garry Smith; many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Graveside funeral services for Joe will be Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at 2:00 PM, in the Souder Cemetery with burial to follow.  Officiating will be Pastor Oren Alcorn.  Memorials may be made to Souder Cemetery.
