LARRY D. WALLACE

Larry D. Wallace, 68, of Gainesville, MO passed away April 26, 2020 at his residence. He was born December 13, 1951 in Gainesville to Grant and Effie (Wilkerson) Wallace.

Larry was a graduate of Gainesville High School class of 1969. He worked many years in the construction business pouring concrete. He was very respected for his work. He also loved music. He was very well known around the area for his singing talents. He played many venues over the years. He had a heart bigger than life, and a smile to match. He was always quick with a grin and loved visiting and telling stories. He was loved and will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.

He is survived by two sons, David Wallace and Chad Wallace both of Gainesville; four grandchildren; one sister, Shirley Wallace Swearengin Sellars; and several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Grant and Effie Wallace; and one brother, Dean Wallace.

A private family burial was held in the Mammoth Cemetery. Arrangements were conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
