Laura Mae Renne, born on July 19th, 1964, oldest child of Auttie & Glenda Perry formerly of Monroe Michigan, passed away on July 22nd, 2025, at her home in Theodosia, Missouri. She was 61 years old.

Laura is lovingly remembered by husband Mike Renne. They were happily married on April 6th, 2019. She is survived by her youngest brother, Allen Perry and wife Robin Perry of Monroe, Michigan; children Steven Schmekel and wife Amie Schmekel of Gainesville Missouri, daughter Emily Schmekel of Roseville, Michigan, stepson Beau Renne of Independence, Missouri; grandchildren Alexis Renne, Dalton Renne, Zoe Schmekel, and Steven Schmekel; as well as 5 additional stepchildren, 8 step grandchildren, and 9 step great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Auttie & Glenda Perry and her younger brother Thomas Perry.

She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all she knew and cared for as a voracious reader, lover of freshly brewed coffee, and time well spent with the people she cherished and loved.

Services will be held at Salem General Baptist Church of Ocie, Missouri at 1pm on Saturday July 26th, 2025. Celebration of life to follow after.

Cremation services are under the direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
