Lee Arthur Fox

Lee Arthur Fox, 71 years, 8 months, and 24 days old, passed to Heaven on July 5, 2015 at his home with his loving family by his side.

Lee was born October 12, 1943 in Almartha, MO in Ozark County to Lonnie Oral and Bonnie Arlene (Gardner) Fox. He graduated from Roosevelt High School in Fresno, CA.

Lee was a retired Sales Representative with Farmer Brothers Coffee. On January 25, 1963 Lee and Deanna Lee Sanabria were united in marriage in Clovis, CA and to this union two children were born.

Lee also worked as a Barber. His hobbies were; rodeo team roping, soccer, broom ball hockey, boxing, boating, softball, off road motorcycle riding, and having the gift of wit and humor to share. Lee was a Christian and was at peace on his path that led him back to his Ozark roots.

Lee was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Charlotte Alderson.

Lee is survived by his wife, Deanna Fox, Wasola, MO, one daughter, Shellee Fox and husband, Gary Slaughter, Galt, CA and one son, Bill Fox and wife, Tricia, Clovis, CA, five grandchildren, Jennifer, Nikita, Olivia, Kenneth and William and a host of relatives and friends.


Funeral services for Lee will be Thursday, July 9, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO with cremation following per Lee's request. Officiating will be John Spurlock. Memorials may be made to Hospice Compassus, 1602 C. N. Main, Mtn. Grove 65711.
