Rev. Lee Hampton

Ozark, Missouri

Aaron Lee Hampton, 84 years, 4 months, and 17 days old, passed away on December 4, 2021 at his home in Ozark with family by his side.

Lee was born July 18, 1937 in Douglas County, Missouri to Tommy and Cloah (Brake) Hampton.

On February 26, 1958, Lee and Wilma Jean Williams were united in marriage in Douglas County, Missouri and to this union two boys were born.

Lee was a pastor at several churches over the years.  He was a Christian and a member of the Freewill Baptist Church.  He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.  He was a wonderful husband and an amazing father.  He will be greatly missed.

Lee was preceded in death by his son, Norman Hampton; his parents; brothers, Arthur, Earnest, and Eldon "Bud" Hampton; sister, Goldie Swearengin.

He is survived by his wife, Wilma Jean, Ozark, MO; son, Darrell Hampton, Ozark, MO; brothers John and Roy Hampton and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Lee will be Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. in the Clinkingbeard Chapel, Ava, MO with burial following in the Stillings Cemetery.  Visitation will be Wednesday from 9:00 A.M. to service time.  Officiating will be Pastor Jerry Loveland.  Memorials may be made to Stillings Cemetery.
