Lena Joan "Titse" Sara, 92 years, passed away on April 7, 2010 at Ava, MO with her family by her side.
Lena was born April 8, 1917 in Cheyenne, WY to Mike and Angelena (Parache) Sara.
She was a Catholic and a member of the St. Mary's Cathedral in Cheyenne, WY. Lena was one of most loving hardest working aunts and a second Mom to all. Her greatest joy was in caring for her family and was always there to give a helping hand.
Lena was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Bill, Dominic and baby Sammy and two sisters, Jennie Casteel and baby Josephine.
Lena is survived by two sisters, Lucille Ferro, Ava, MO, Katherine Ferro, Ogden, UT, one brother, James Sara, Cheyenne, WY, many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Funeral Mass for Lena will be Monday, April 12, 2010, 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Cathedral, Cheyenne, WY with a Rosary on Sunday, April 11th 4:00 p.m. at Schrader Funeral Home. Entombment will be in the Olivet Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Alzheimers Association. Services will be conducted by Schrader Funeral Home, Cheyenne, WY. Local arrangements were by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO.
