A come and go visitation will be Thursday, August 12, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Mammoth Cemetery in Gainesville, MO. Leona passed away Saturday, August 7, at Baxter Regional Medical Center, in Mountain Home, AR.

Leona was born October 14, 1941 as Leona Marie Klein in Fullerton, NE. She came from a large family with seven other brothers and sisters. Hard times sent them out west to Washington state, where she stayed for most of her early to mid-life. There she found God, raising her children as a single mother, devoted and faithful throughout good times and bad.

Returning to Nebraska in the mid 80's with her mother and youngest child, she pulled together the means to carve out a career as a nurse. Leona took on the often thank-less job of providing care for those confined to their last days in a nursing home. There she ensured her patients knew love, were well taken care of and whenever possible, were right with God before they passed.

Leona was a pioneer by all means, moving to Missouri in the later 80's, etching her final home from barren land, providing for her children and those she knew. Rarely did she put her own needs before those in need.   She lived by a favorite Bible verse as in Mark 12:41-44.

Leona was preceded in death by her father, Gilbert Clarence Klein, her mother, Dorothy Irene LeMaster (Klein); two brothers, Leland Gilbert Klein and Melvin Ray Klein.

Leona is survived by her husband Wesley Baddgor; three children; a son, Wendellin Fettig and his wife Chrystal, and their children Derrick, Thomas, Jessica, Jade and Micheal; a son, Mark Fettig and his children Julius Caldwell and Jonathan Fettig; a son, Adam Fullilove and his wife Ashley, their children Ashton Fullilove, Ellie May, Dixie Lee and Emmy Lou.

Leona is also survived by two brothers Fredrick Allen Klein, Gilbert Clarence Klein; three sisters, Janet Ann Grimit, Peggy Lee Coleman and Candace Elizabeth Gustafson.

Arrangements are under the direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
