Leroy Smith, 67 years, passed away on April 14, 2010 at his home.

Leroy was born February 4, 1943 in Cabot, AR to Roy and Opal (Ramsey) Smith.

Leroy was a resident of Mansfield, MO ( Douglas County ) for many years. He was a Dairy Farmer. On Dec. 28, 1962 Leroy and Sandra Kay Crosby were united in marriage in Cabot, AR and to this union two daughters were born.

Leroy was a Christian and a member of the Norwood Masonic Lodge #622. Leroy enjoyed gun-smithing, reading, the outdoors and working on his farm.

Leroy was preceded in death by his parents.

Leroy is survived by two daughters & their spouses, Renee & Greg Beckwith, Benton, AR and Vicki & Ron Barnum, Strafford, MO and their mother, Sandy Smith, Benton, AR, four grandchildren, Bryce Eggers, Branson Eggers, Caleb Barnum and Dylan Barnum, eight brothers and sisters, Wanda Odom, AR, Floyd "Butch" Smith, AR, Bonnie Vaught, TX, Julie Baugh, Kay Peters, John Smith, Suzanne Ware and Natalie Durden all of Arkansas, many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Leroy will be Saturday, April 17, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO with burial in the Fairview Cemetery near his farm. Visitation will be Saturday, April 17, 2010 from 1:00 p.m. to service time in the funeral home. Officiating will be Brother Ron Felker. Family requests memorials to Fair View Cemetery.
