Lesalie Ruth Mergendahl, 72 years, 10 months, 8 days old, passed peacefully to Heaven on September 27, 2022 at Gainesville Healthcare Center in Gainesville, Missouri with her family by her side.

Lesalie was born November 19, 1949 in Saugerties, NY to Harry and Alice (Brooks) Overbough.

Lesalie worked for a Binder/Book Manufacturer Company out of Saugerties, New York.

On Nov. 20, 2004 Lesalie and "Jack" Mergendahl were united in marriage at Saugerties, NY by the city Mayor.

Lesalie enjoyed fishing and raising flowers. She loved attending church and going to the creek. Lesalie also enjoyed listening to Daniel O'Donnell Irish, Christian and Gospel music. She was a Christian and was saved and baptized in 2012!

Lesalie was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, Harry, Raymond and George Overbough, Joan Green, Ilene Worthman and Deantha.

Lesalie is survived by her husband, Jack; children, Jackie Sue Autry, Wanda Jean Mergendahl, Bonnie Lynn Kuhn and John R. Mergendahl, Jr.; many grandchildren; several great grandchildren; two brothers; Richard Overbough and William Overbough; two sisters, Martha Carrier and Carol Ballinger; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services for Lesalie will be Friday, September 30, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the Clinkingbeard Chapel, Ava, MO with burial following in the Girdner Cemetery. A  Visitation will be prior to the service on Friday from 1:00 p.m. to service time. Officiating will be Pastor Robert Roberts and Pastor Maxine Lund. Family requests donations to the Girdner Cemetery in her memory.
