Leslie Marie Smith, 40 years, passed away on January 14, 2016 at her home in Ava.
Leslie was born April 29, 1975 in Springfield, MO. She attended Ava High School.
Leslie was a resident of the Ava community most of her life. Leslie had worked as a waitress. She enjoyed being at the creek and around family. She was Baptized as a teenager and was raised in the Pentecost faith.
Leslie was preceded in death by her grandson, Caden Young, her grandmother, Freda "Grannie" Rowe, three aunts, Helen Breeding, Florence Stutts, Donnie Osbourn, and an uncle, Bobby Rowe, and a brother in law, Ryan Smith.
Leslie is survived by her husband Shayne, her parents, Ellen Austin and Bill and Sue Downs, two sons, Clayton Tyler Young and wife Katlyn of Hartville, MO, and Dalton Wayne Young, of Ozark, MO, one brother, Stoney Austin of Ava, and two sisters, Sandy Mason and Angie Adams, both of AR, and a host of other family and friends.
A Graveside Service for Leslie will be Monday, January 18, 2016 at 3:00 pm at her home. A visitation will be Sunday from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO. Officiating will be Pastor Buddy Boyd. Memorials may be made to the family as love offerings.
