Leslie Earl Yearwood Jr.,  55 years, 5 months, and 2 days old, passed away on October 20, 2024 at Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare.

Leslie was born May 18, 1969 in Springfield, Missouri to Leslie Earl and Doris Earlene (Long) Yearwood, Sr.

He graduated from Ava High School in 1987.  He worked for several years at Rawlings Sporting Goods in Ava. He also was a truck driver.

Leslie battled Multiple Sclerosis for several years. He loved art and music and he was very artistic. He was a Christian.

Leslie was preceded in death by his parents and his step-father, Fred Searcy.

He is survived by his daughter and husband, Bobbie and Matthias Dever; two grandchildren, Jericho and Victor; his brother, Greg Friend and wife Patricia; and friends.

Memorial Graveside services for Leslie will be Friday, October 25, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. in the Ava Cemetery.  Cremation services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava.  Memorials may be made to National MS Society.
