Lester Hellmuth, 84 years, passed away on March 23, 2013 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO.
Lester was born December 30, 1928 in Elgin, IL to Frank and Hulda (Rabe) Hellmuth.
On June 25, 1949 Lester and Juanita Greve were united in marriage in Elgin, IL and to this union nine children were born.
He was a member of the IBEW. He enjoyed flying and was also a member of the EAA.
Lester was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters. He is survived by his wife Juanita, six sons and their spouses, Gary & Cynthia Hellmuth, Benicia, CA, Dale & Michele Hellmuth, Rohnert Park, CA, Ron Hellmuth, Benicia, CA, Jeffrey Hellmuth, San Jose, CA, Lawrence & Dawn Hellmuth, Waukesha, WI and Gregory & Brittany Hellmuth, Plainville, GA, three daughters and their spouses, Nancy & Dennis Warden, Elgin, IL, Dianne & Dennis Kappen, Lecompton, KS and Susan & Jon Barrott, Colorado Springs, CO, 16 grandchildren, three step grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and five step great grandchildren.
Memorial services for Lester will be in Harvard, IL at a later date and time.
