LILLIAN BARTON

Lillian (Pierjok) Barton age 89, of Tecumseh, MO passed away Friday Dec. 5, 2014 at Medical Center in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
Lillian was born July, 7, 1925 in Washington County, Illinois to John Pierjok Jr. and Constance (Wisniewski) Pierjok.

Lillian worked many years at Prince-Gardener in St. Louis, after retiring she moved to Thornfield, Mo. and later moving to Tecumseh, Mo. Lillian had a passion for quilting, she made quilts and donated them to organizations for raffles, she gave quilts to people in need of a quilt, she also sold quilts. She made many friends with her love for quilting.

Lillian was preceded in death by her parents, a husband Hollis Gilliam and her present husband Clayton Barton. She was also preceded in death by 2 sisters Anna (Andrew) Kachuba and Clara (Claude) Vaughn and 1 brother Harry Pierjok. She had no children but is survived by many nieces and nephews, also a dear cousin Theresa (Wisniewski) Jordan, and many friends.

Final viewing will be held at Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, 434 Main St, Gainesville, MO on Dec 10, 2014 from 5pm to 7pm. Mass service will be held at St William Parish, County Highway MM, Gainesville, MO, Father Paul presiding on Dec 11, 2014 from 10am to 11am. Burial will be at Thornfield Cemetery in Thornfield, MO following Mass.
