Linda Eacret, 73, of Gainesville, MO, a devoted wife, mother, Nana, and sister, passed away at Baxter Health, Mountain Home, AR on February 3, 2025. She was born on July 16, 1951, in Los Angeles, California. Linda married the love of her life, Steve Eacret, on January 14, 1977, and together they built a beautiful family filled with love and laughter.
Linda was a woman of strong faith and unwavering convictions. Her belief in the Lord guided her throughout her life, and she was known for her strong-willed nature and standing firm in what she believed. Her loving spirit and playful sense of humor endeared her to everyone she met. To know Linda was truly to love her, and she touched countless lives with her kindness and zest for life.
Linda is survived by her adored children Shannon Pool (Kurt Gott), Jenny Pool, Heather Pool, and Jason Pool. She found great joy in her role as Nana to her ten grandchildren: Haley (Rick) Cooper of Thornfield, MO, Kyle Pool of Gainesville, MO, Corey Pool of Gainesville, MO, Riley (Brantly) Gossett of Fordland, MO, and Bryce (Rebecca) Cockrum of Thornfield, MO, Amanda (Zach) Thomann of Warner Robins, GA, Michaela (Hayden) Gaar of Hollister, MO, TJ Pool (Springfield), Dakota Sylcox (Springfield) and Kade Gallion (Springfield). Linda was a proud and loving Nanny to her sixteen great-grandchildren: Jackson, Brody, Kinsley, Haven, Carter, Conner, Arabella, Aspen, Denver, Veronica, Rowan, Asher, Wrynlee, Aliza, Westin, and Eloise.
Linda is survived by her beloved siblings: Donny (Linda) Ford of Enid, OK, Sharon (late Dennis) Welch of Seymour, MO, Susie (Herman) Johnson of Seymour, MO, and Jimmy (Joy) Ford of Shawnee, OK. She is also remembered fondly by her sisters-in-law Elaine Butler of St. Louis MO, Donna Eacret of Rogersville, MO, Cheryl Eacret of Gainesville, MO, Melanie (Bret) Cook of Theodosia, MO, and brother-in-law Scott (Lisa) Eacret of Maryland Heights, MO, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loved ones.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Alice Ford, infant brother, John Edward Ford, and many other loved ones.
Linda's love for her family was unmatched, and she lived her life with them at the center. She never met a stranger, as her warmth and openness drew people to her. Linda's legacy is one of love, laughter, and unwavering faith. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
