LINDA L. JONES

Linda L. Jones, 69, of Gassville, AR passed away on April 30, 2017 at the Gassville Therapy and Living Center. She was born December 31, 1947 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Joseph and Sophia Polovich.

Linda was united in marriage to Doug Jones on December 30, 1976 in Mountain Home, AR. The couple spent over thirty years together until his passing in 2008. Linda was a quiet person, but a faithful and hard worker. She worked for Micro Plastics of Mountain Home, AR for over twenty years and several years for a home health agency. She loved to bowl and enjoyed a trip to Hawaii with her bowling team.

Linda is survived by a step-son Dwayne D. Jones, and granddaughter Emma, of Gassville, AR; a step-daughter Denise Oestreich and two children of St Louis, MO; one brother Russell Polovich of Gassville, AR; one sister Jackie Klineline of Pontiac, MO; two sisters-in-law Maxine Stewart and husband Voyne of Blue Springs, MO and Gloria Evans and husband Gary of Green Cove Springs, FL; special nephew Kenneth Heriford and wife Juanita of Wasola, MO; and several other nieces and nephews.

A Visitation and gathering of friends will be held from 1-2 p.m. Friday, May 5, 2017 in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home chapel, Gainesville, MO. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Oak Grove Cemetery or the American Diabetes Association. Arrangements are by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
