Linda Kay Walker was 55 years old and passed away from an auto accident on Wednesday, June 26, 2024.

Linda was born October 13, 1968, in Key West, Florida to David Thomas and Ethel Mae (Colwell) Homley.

Linda Kay was a Christian and was raised in the Southern Baptist faith.

Linda and her husband Chris Walker were united in marriage October 11, 2006, in Harlan, Kentucky.

Linda loved being outside in nature and gardening (this was new to her). She  also enjoyed her dogs and her fascination with frogs. Linda was as a registered nurse in Florida and continued her career for a brief time in Ava at Prime Care.  Her most enjoyable thing to do was spend time with her family. She loved all her kids, grandkids, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Richie Homley; and a sister, Cindy Homley.

Linda is survived by her husband, Chris; her children, Donnie Barker, Jeremy Tolbert, Brittney Walker, Kayla Walker, and Casey Walker; her grandchildren; her brother, Jeff Homley; her uncle, Jimmy Brownlee; other relatives and friends.

Cremation services for Linda are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO.
