Lloyd Edwin Witchey, 61 years, passed to heaven on November 6, 2012 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO from a sudden illness.

Lloyd was born June 19, 1951 in Springfield, MO to Cecil "Bud" and Roma (Huffman) Witchey.

Lloyd was a lifelong resident of the Ava community. He was presently working with Regal Co. in Springfield, Mo as a Maintenance Technician. He also worked at Emerson Electric in Ava for 20 some years.



On April 21, 1973 Lloyd and Donna Wilson were united in marriage in Ava, MO and to this union one son, Jonathan was born. Donna preceded in death in 2011.Later Lloyd and Karen (Hodges) were united in marriage on March 24, 2012 at the Harvest Project Revival Center in Mansfield, MO.



Lloyd was a Christian and a member of the Harvest Project Revival Center. His hobbies were working on old cars, hunting and going to garage sales. Lloyd loved life and adored his family. He also loved going to church and being with all his church family.

Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Donna and father-in-law Eugene "Gene" Wilson.


Lloyd is survived by his wife,Karen Witchey, Ava, MO, one son, Jonathan also of Ava, MO, four step children, David Holloway, Jayme Williams & husband, Phillip, Kim and Kayla Holloway, two step grandchildren, Megan and Christopher Williams, one brother and one sister, Vernon Witchey and Glenda Witchey both of Ava, MO, mother-in-law, Chloe Wilson, Ava, MO, brother-in-law, Kevin & Sonya Hodges, special friends, Roy & Nelda Dedmon and a host of many other relatives and friends.


Funeral services for Lloyd will be Saturday, November 10, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO with burial in the Whites Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Officiating will be Pastor Ronnie Baker and Pastor Neal Crum. Memorials may be made to the family as a love offering.
