LOIS FRANCES WILSON JENKINS

Lois Francis Jenkins, 90 years, 11 months, 16 days passed to Heaven on December 16, 2012 in Springfield, Missouri.

Lois was born December 25, 1921 at Osceola, Missouri to Arlander and Mertie Fletcher Wilson

Lois and Albert L. Jenkins Sr. were united in marriage March 21, 1937, at Goodhope, Missouri, to this union seven children were born.

Lois was saved in 1950 at Goodhope, Mo. She attended Goodhope General Baptist Church for 56 years, then the Assembly of God Church. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a dairy and beef farmer and worked at Emerson Electric. She always had a big garden and was famous for her made from scratch German chocolate cake. The things she loved and that were very important to her was God first, then her family. She was a very hard worker, even at 90 she was still feeding calves and helping in the barn. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Lois is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Albert, an infant daughter, infant son, baby son, Carl Leon Jenkins, son, Elvis Lee Jenkins, great-granddaughter, Jayla Brooke Jenkins, three brothers: Rolla, Farce and Conda, five sisters: Sybil, Opal, Eva, Neva, Gertie.

Lois is survived by her son, Albert L. Jenkins Jr. and wife Sue, of Ava, Mo, and daughters, Marsha D. Jenkins Roberts, Ava, Mo., Pamela C. Jenkins Graham and husband Randall of Ava, Mo, seven grandchildren, Lane Jenkins and wife Carmen of Monett, Mo, Telly Jenkins and wife Stephanie of Willard, Mo, Cory Jenkins and wife Jessica of Ozark, Mo, Travis Roberts and wife Rosy of Moberly, Mo, Terry Roberts of Ozark, Mo, Donell Kroutil and husband Matt of Oronogo, Mo, and Douglas Roberts of Ava, Mo, eleven great-grandchildren, Landon Jenkins, Lauren Jenkins, Carlie Jenkins, Alex Jenkins, Zoe Jenkins, Jerrica Jenkins, Jrayen Jenkins, Alivia Roberts, Allyson Roberts, Riley Kroutil, and Jerremiah Chase.

Funeral service for Lois will be held Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at Ava Assembly of God Church, 2:00 p.m. with burial at the Goodhope Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at the Ava Assembly of God Church from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to Gideons or Goodhope Cemetery. Officiating will be Pastor Buddy Boyd and Pastor Oren Alcorn. Services under the direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, Mo.
