Lois Arlene Weidman, 81 years, passed to heaven on September 24, 2013 at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield, MO.
Lois was born July 28, 1932 in Omaha, NE to Robert and Alice (McIntosh) Fitzgerald. She graduated from Technical High School in Omaha, NE.
Lois was a resident of the Ava community for several years.
She was a retired bank teller.
On August 31, 1950, Lois and Ernest Weidman were united in marriage in Carter Lake, IA and to this union two sons were born.
She was a Christian and a member of the Walnut Grove General Baptist Church near Ava.
Lois enjoyed quilting, crafts, square dancing and playing cards.
She was also a caregiver to her brother, Kenneth in his latter years and also to others.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ernest, two sons; an infant son Robert Harold and Ernie, one brother, Kenneth Fitzgerald and one sister, Lila Carlson.
Lois is survived by a sister, Norma Ingram, Squires, MO, her step-mother, Marie Fitzgerald, Omaha,Ne, a step-sister, Wanda Martis & Ray, Omaha, NE, several nephews and nieces, and many other relatives and friends.
Cremation services for Lois are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO. A memorial and burial by her husband, will be in California at a later date and time.
