LONNIE GENE BEARD

Lonnie Gene Beard passed away Sunday afternoon, October 21, 2007 at St. John's Regional Healthcare in Springfield, Missouri. He was 67 years, 7 months, and 2 days old. Lonnie was born on March 19, 1940 in Robinson, Illinois to Roy Beard and Aletha (Medlin) Beard. On October 18, 1991 Lonnie and Phyllis Harrison were married in Golden, Colorado, and then in 1993 they moved to the Ozarks and made their home in Isabella, Missouri. A retired car salesman, Lonnie was a member of the Lighthouse Assembly of God in Theodosia.
He is survived by his wife Phyllis Beard of the home in Isabella; sons Ron Beard of Austin, Texas, David Beard and wife Charlotte of Knoxville, Illinois; daughter Pandora Cowgur and husband Brad of Perryville, Missouri; step children Brent Harrison, Troy Harrison, and Chad Harrison, wife Mikela and son Mason all of Isabella, Missouri; step-dad Bill Palmer of Hutsonville, Illinois; 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild
Lonnie is preceded in death by his grandparents, parents Roy and Aletha Beard, and sister Shirley.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at 2:30 PM at Clinkingbeard Funeral Home in Gainesville, Missouri with Jim Maddox and Robert Grisham officiating. Burial will follow on Friday, October 26, 2007 at 2:30 PM, Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria, Illinois.
