Loren J. Lansdown

Loren James Lansdown was born July 7th, 1967 to Charlie and Laura (Wallingford) Lansdown in Mansfield, MO.

Loren was a resident of Sunrise Estates in Bolivar, MO. for the last 20 years where he enjoyed doing household chores, listening to music, fishing, and helping with the Meals on Wheels program. He was a very happy person and was quick to share a smile. The nursing staff at Sunrise Estates will miss his helping hand and kind nature.

Loren was baptized in Gainesville, MO and went home to be with Jesus on October 15th, 2016 at the age of 49.

He was proceeded in death by his father, Charlie Lansdown, grand parents Columbus and Susan (Hodge) Lansdown and William and Ruth Wallingford, and a step grandfather Jess Cotton, and an infant brother, Charlie Lansdown Jr.

Loren is survived by his mother, Laura Lansdown of Ava, MO, four sisters, Betty Boyd and husband Les of Mountain Grove, MO, Shirley Mitchell of Paris, TN, Patricia Tilton of Iola, KS, and Dedee Freeman and husband James of Mountain Grove, MO, two brothers, Bobby Lansdown of Ava, and Billy Lansdown and wife Janet of Waynesburg, KY, as wll as many other family and friends who will miss him.


Graveside Services for Loren will be Thursday, October 20th at 11:00 am in the Denney Cemetery. Officiating will be Pastor Oren Alcorn. Memorials may be made to the Meals on Wheels program. Services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO.
