LOREN EARL SPENCER
Loren Earl Spencer, 73, of Bonita Springs, Florida, son of Leonard and Margaret (Northcutt) Spencer, was born July 26, 1935 in Mountain View, Missouri and passed away January 9, 2009 at his residence.
Formally of St. Louis, Missouri, he had been a Bonita Springs resident for the past five years .He was a Korean War veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He owned and operated the All Track Equipment Corporation out of Granite City, Illinois for many years.
Mr. Spencer is survived by his wife of 27 years Peggy (Wattles) Spencer; his four children Douglas Spencer of Cabot, Arkansas, Margaret Smith and husband Gary of Jacksonville, Arkansas, Becky Leverett and husband Marvin of Prague, Oklahoma, Elizabeth Luethje and husband Alan of Stillwater, Oklahoma, and Bruce Chapis of Naples, Florida; twenty grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three sisters Anita Nelson and husband Herbert of Caulfield, MO, Camilla Pyles and husband Paul, and Sylvia Carson and husband Richard all of Tecumseh, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers Gilbert and Duane Spencer.
Funeral services will be 10 AM on Friday, January 16, 2009 at Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO with Jeff Dotson officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Pleasant cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 28441 Bonita Crossings Blvd, Bonita Springs, FL 34135. Services are under the direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville.
