Lorene Long passed away Thursday evening, September 20, 2007 at Gainesville Health Care Center, at the age of 78 years old. Lorene was born on June 27, 1929 in Gainesville, Missouri to Noah Chisam and Victoria (Whisnant) Chisam. She and Charlie Long were married and made their home in the Kansas City area. After his death, Lorene moved back to Ozark County 7 years ago and lived with her daughter Judy. A retired Lab Tech for an Optometrist office, Lorene is survived by her daughter Judy Spinner of Isbaella, Missouri, son Floyd Long of Raytown, Missouri, 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Also survived by her brothers and sisters Everett Chisam of Ava, Missouri, Rena Lininger, John Chisam, and Alene McDonald all of Kansas City.
Preceded in death by her parents, husband Charlie, 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date at Clinkingbeard Funeral Home in Gainesville.
