Lorene "Rene" Reba Nash
Ava, MO
Lorene Reba Nash, 97 years, 9 months, passed to Heaven on January 2, 2015 at Mercy Hospital.
Rene was born April 2, 1917 in Squires, MO to Jesse Madison and Opal Fern (Abel) Nash.
Rene loved cooking even until the week before her passing. She enjoyed bowling until she was 82 years old. Rene enjoyed embroidering and flower gardening.
She was a Christian and attended the Ava General Baptist Church.
Rene was preceded by her parents, her brothers, Oden, Carl, Ross, Elroy,
Bobby Joe and Edd and her sister, Esther Durham.
Rene is survived by one brother, Jerry Nash and twenty-seven neices and nephews by eight brothers and sisters, many friends and other relatives.
Funeral services for Lorene will be Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Clinkingbeard Chapel, Ava, with burial in the Fannon Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. till service time in the funeral home. Officiating will be Pastor Oren Alcorn. Memorials may be made to Fannon Cemetery.
