LORETTA CRISP EVANS

Loretta Crisp Evans, 73, of Aurora, MO passed away January 17, 2014 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO. She was born in Gainesville, MO on August 26, 1940 to W.P. and Elenora (Wallace) Crisp.

On July 8, 1957 Loretta was united in marriage to James Evans in Mount Sterling, OH and to this union three sons were born. Loretta was a member of the Church of Christ and a good and faithful servant of her Lord. She was a retired Certified Real Estate Appraiser of 30 years. Loretta was a beloved wife, mother, sister and daughter. She was an avid fisher and fly-fisher who loved the outdoors.

Loretta was preceded in death by her mother, father, and brother Jimmy Lon Crisp. She is survived by her husband James K. Evans; three sons: Clint Evans, Mark Evans, and Jimmy Paul Evans; three grandchildren: William Michael Evans, Brittany Michelle Talbert, and James Robert Evans; and one great grandchild: Aliviah Ann Talbert.

Funeral services for Loretta will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 22, 2014 in the Gainesville Church of Christ, Gainesville, MO with Wayne Stewart officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday afternoon from 1 p.m. to service time at the church. Burial will be in the Lilly Ridge Cemetery.
